UAE
Forum
UAE
provides a forum for information sharing among members,
in order to understand market forces and to maintain
continuity in regulatory policy. UAE develops and
maintains contact with key decision-makers, regulators
and major stakeholders within the Rocky Mountain energy
supply region. UAE evaluates existing energy tariffs
and proposed changes, intervenes on behalf of members
regarding local utility rate filings before the Utah
Public Service Commission and monitors state and federal
legislation that affect large customers.
Monthly
Meetings
UAE
members meet on a monthly basis to provide a forum
for the exchange of ideas. Monthly meetings feature
national and state speakers with insight into federal,
regional, and state policy. Market experts also provide
updates on activities which affect the price of energy
inputs.
Information
Updates
UAE
provides its members with regulatory and legislative
updates, as well as a weekly Energy Bulletin. This
bulletin includes regional and national pricing information
for natural gas and electricity, and other relevant
market information. UAE also provides its members with a monthly newsletter with the most key, in depth information on current energy issues happening in their service area in the Intermountain West
